With the integration of Gemini Legal and Filevine, users will be able to increase speed, efficiency, and security of records requests and document workflows, all within Filevine, eliminating the need to jump between disconnected systems.
1. Why are Gemini Legal and Filevine partnering?
Gemini Legal and Filevine are working together to make it easier for workers compensation clients to securely progress case records via integration between their two software systems.
The planned integration is designed to allow workers compensation firms to access Gemini Legal’s records services directly through Filevine. The goal is for users to be able to request records, monitor status, JET File submissions and receive documents, all without leaving their case file.
2. What features are planned to be included in the integration?
The planned integration will focus on the following capabilities:
Records Requests: Submitting via a direct link to Gemini Legal’s online ordering platform from within Filevine.
Status Tracking: Viewing real-time Gemini Legal order updates inside the Filevine case file.
Secure Document Delivery: Completed Gemini Legal records requests automatically routed to the appropriate Filevine case.
Gemini Legal JetFiler Access: For unintegrated tasks, the goal is for users to be able to securely access Gemini Legal’s JetFiler software externally.
3. When is the integration between Filevine and Gemini Legal launching?
Software development is already underway. Beta testing is scheduled to begin in June 2025. General availability will follow based on beta tester feedback.
4. Do I need to be a Gemini Legal client to use the integration with Filevine? Do I need to be a Filevine client to use the integration with Gemini Legal?
Yes. Integration access requires an active Gemini Legal account, as well as a Filevine software license.
5. How do I enable the integration?
Once you have a subscription to both sets of software, contact your Gemini Legal account manager.
Contact Info@Gemini.Legal or Info@Filevine.com if you need software setup assistance.
Your Gemini Legal account manager will need to enable permissions within Filevine.
Then, the Filevine admin or support team will reach out to you to complete the process.
6. Once it is complete, what benefits should I expect with the integration?
For new Gemini Legal customers, No Additional Cost for submitting documents to DWC EAMS through JET File: Gemini Legal does not charge a per-use fee like some other vendors. This value-add benefit will be passed on to Filevine users after the integration.
Time Savings: Submit requests and receive records faster.
